Bateau École Nicolas is a boating school located in Bordeaux. They relied exclusively on word-of-mouth for their client acquisition. Due to their competitors improving their online acquisition, they felt it was time to do the same.
Bateau École Nicolas had a website with basic content and structure. Most of the information people would ask about boating licences were in place. However, the competition was months ahead of them resulting in Bateau École Nicolas not showing on Google's first page for relevant queries.
Revamping the local footprint
We began by auditing the Google My Business account. We discovered that between duplicated account, critical information missing and poor local citations, we would have to revamp the entire Bateau École Nicolas's GMB account. In a matter of a few days, it was all ready. We also took the opportunity to train the team about managing such an account for being independant in the future.
Improving the existing content
Even if the existing website was up and running with enough information (some leads were converting), a lot of content was missing. In addition to adding this content, we fixed a lot of issues such as 404 pages and responsiveness. We took the opportunity to improve the funnel making it easier for visitors to convert into leads.
